Sent by God

Many pastors are called, some think they are called, and still others are sent…

But who is genuinely sent by God?

I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, and who will go for Us?” Isaiah 6.8

How can we identify those who are truly sent by God?

Through the prophet Jeremiah, He Himself responds:

And I will give you shepherds according to My heart, who will feed you with knowledge and understanding. Jeremiah 3.15

Water of Life

The River of the Water of Life proceeds from the Throne of the Most High and of His Son, Revelation 22.1.
It is the Spirit of God, the Mind of the Lord Jesus Christ, the Thoughts of God.

He comes to quench the cravings of those who thirst;to give life to the dry land;

to bring renewal; to give sight to the blind;to free the captives from spiritual ignorance…

In a word, to transform the valley of dry bones into a great army of warriors

for the Living God.This Living Water is the Holy Spirit.

When you receive Him, His thoughts will proceed from your lips and impart life.

“How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!” Psalm 139.17

I will it! How about you?

Will and power.
Only those who do not will a thing, cannot do it.
The will is inside each one of us.
But each one of us has to have the will.
God wills it.

But all alone, He cannot make the dream of living in me a reality.
He needs my authorization, my invitation, my will…

When Your will joins together with my will, then the impossible happens.

“…for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.”Philippians 2.13

The Holy Spirit is for everyone… except the uninterested.

4th August-Day Four-The Fast of Daniel

The water from the Throne!
Water, water in abundance…symbolizing the thoughts of God.
It produces life…and life in abundance.
The dream of the Eternal One is to make every child a spring of life.
A spring that gushes forth life.
This is abundant life.
Those who drink of the Spirit of God turn into wellsprings…
because the Spirit is the Spring that engenders Life.
He flows from the Throne of the Most High and of His Son Jesus Christ.
Revelation 22.1

The authority of children

The Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of which it is said:
He came to His own (Israel), and His own (the children of Israel) did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1.11-13
Those born of the Spirit of God have power. They even have the authority of God the Father to forgive sins (John 20.23), how much more, to overcome the evil of this world! (1 John 5.4)
But…
Why do we see people who accept Jesus and yet do not have the power of God’s children?
Because they are born of blood (common to all), or of the will of the flesh (the result of human immorality), or of the will of man (the dreams of parents).
Not one of these children was born of the will of God. Therefore, they do not have the power of God’s children.
Only those born of the Spirit of God can be considered legitimate children of God.

And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.”Luke 1.35

The birth of Jesus is a model for all other children of God.

Just as the Holy Spirit came upon Mary, overshadowing her and creating the Son of God within her, the same must also occur with all other people.

From the very instant that the Spirit of God comes upon a person, a new person is created within that same body. That is, a new child of God is born.

The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Genesis 1.2

The Spirit of God hovers over every member of the human race waiting to be invited in to make it His home.
