Hello, Bishop!
I would like to share something with you that happened with a Congolese family during the Campaign of Israel.
A church member, here in England, told us how she had lost her sister and a close friend in a plane crash that happened on July 8th in the Republic of Congo.
Although, there were obvious feelings of sadness and loss for her loved ones, there was also the joy of knowing that her two other sisters were among the 51 people who survived the crash, which claimed the lives of more than 70 people.
That's right! They were on the same flight and survived with minor injuries.
The two surviving sisters boarded the plane in Paris and were bound for Kinshasa. There, they were to meet up with the other two and board another plane that would take them to their hometown.
The weather was terrible, it was raining heavily. The aircraft belonged to a company that had been prohibited from flying over European airspace due to the precarious state of their aircrafts. The plane crashed near the airport and immediately burst into flames.
The interesting part about all this is that one of the surviving sisters is a faithful member of the Universal Church in France. The other sister regularly attends church meetings and both were faithfully participating in the Campaign of Israel. Unfortunately, the sister that died was of another faith.
"For he will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." Psalms 91.11
God bless,
