The Big Day Is Near
If you have your calendar at hand, take note of the following day and time; December 18th at 10am at. That's right, the big day is just a few weeks away; The Universal Church in Houston is getting ready for the grand opening of its first headquarters after seventeen years! The Cenacle of Faith is almost ready to open its doors to welcome everyone.
Remember when we first announced this great project back in February? The first images were of a desolate, unattractive, barren plot of land that made the architectural diagrams seem surreal. A campaign to raise funds for the $7 million needed for the construction began and church members all across the country decided to become part of the 7,000 donors to help with $1,000 dollars each. Thanks to all who helped with their donations and raising funds to make the construction process possible in just eleven months.
A building like no other, a capacity of about 1,130 people, is the result of a lot of effort and faith by our church members and pastors. Just like it was a miracle for the Cenacle of Faith to raise out of nothing, we believe that God will manifest His power, transforming lives and making miracles in the lives of those who set foot in this place.
"Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place." 2 Chronicles 7:15
In this spirit of faith you are cordially invited for the grand opening, December 18th. Pictures are not enough to describe the uniqueness of this building, you have to see it for yourself.
Take a look at the most recent pictures of the outside of the building, you will have to wait for the grand opening to see the end results of the inside.
Stay tuned in the following days and weeks for more on the grand opening. But, now take a look at what the Greg Ward the Project Manager had to say about the Houston Project.
